Privacy Policy — Vermax Browser
Last updated: April 30, 2026 ·
App: Vermax Browser ·
Package: com.vermax.browser
Summary (TL;DR)
- We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data to our servers.
- We do not operate servers that receive your browsing activity.
- Your bookmarks, history, tabs, and settings stay on your device.
- DNS-over-HTTPS queries go directly from your device to the resolver you choose.
- No ads. No third-party analytics SDKs.
1. What information the app handles
1.1 Stored locally on your device
The following is stored only on your device. None of it is transmitted to the developer:
- Browsing history — URLs, page titles, and timestamps. You can clear this in Settings.
- Bookmarks — URLs and titles you choose to save.
- Open tabs — current URL and title.
- App settings — DoH provider choice, homepage URL, ad blocker toggle, PIN lock salted hash.
- Web cookies and cache — managed by Android System WebView.
1.2 Information sent over the network
When you load a page:
- Your DNS lookup goes to the DoH resolver you selected (default: Cloudflare 1.1.1.1) — directly from your device. The developer does not operate any DoH resolver.
- Your HTTP/HTTPS request goes to the website itself. The developer does not proxy or log this traffic.
1.3 Not collected
We do not collect: name, email, account info (the app has no accounts), location, contacts, calendar, photos, files, microphone, crash reports sent to us, analytics events, or advertising identifiers.
2. Permissions
| Permission | Purpose |
INTERNET | Load web pages. |
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Detect online/offline state. |
3. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
4. Third-party DNS resolvers
Each provider has its own privacy policy:
5. Security
- App data is private to the app on non-rooted devices.
- The PIN feature stores only a salted hash, never the PIN itself.
- All network connections default to HTTPS.
6. Your rights
Because the app does not collect personal data on our side, there is nothing to delete on our end.
- Clear history & cookies: in-app Settings → Clear browsing data.
- Clear all app data: Android Settings → Apps → Vermax Browser → Storage → Clear data.
- Uninstall to remove everything.
7. Changes
If we change this policy, the "Last updated" date will be updated. Significant changes will appear in release notes.
